About Lena

Dr. Lena Solomon is a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with over four decades of experience, having worked on three continents. She is passionate about writing, reading, gardening and music. She loves writing poetry, stories for children and short stories with strong emotional content. She also likes humour, which she considers the best defence mechanism in coping with today’s sad and cruel world reality.

Her literary work contains reflections on the lives she touched and on those by which her life was touched. Her poems bear the colours of her emotions triggered by the surrounding world, events and dreams filtered through her imagination.  

She has previously published a children’s book of little stories in verse called Round Genie on the Moon (in Hebrew) and one story named Ariya's Odyssey in the Land of Almost Always Sunshine. This is the first in a series of children’s stories
